Gaza recovery teams recover remains of 75 people from destroyed homes

Al Jazeera

A funeral was held in Gaza City for the remains of 75 Palestinians recovered from buildings destroyed during the war, most of them from the Daraj neighbourhood. Gaza health and civil-defence officials said many victims were women and children from about 20 families and that recovery work is hampered by a lack of heavy equipment. Civil Defence says another 8,000 people may remain beneath rubble across Gaza, where UNRWA estimates about 200,000 buildings have been damaged or destroyed.
