Salesforce completes Fin acquisition, expanding its customer service AI portfolio

Salesforce says it has completed its acquisition of Fin, formerly Intercom, bringing the customer service agent platform and its technical team into the company. Fin will operate within Salesforce’s AI Labs and continue serving its customers. Salesforce says Fin has more than 30,000 business customers and complements Agentforce by supporting deployment on existing help desks. The acquisition expands Salesforce’s customer service AI offerings, but the announcement provides no purchase price or independent assessment of Fin’s performance.
