France withdraws support for Infantino and seeks FIFA governance reform
France's football federation withdrew its backing for Gianni Infantino on Thursday and proposed consultations on reforming FIFA. The dispute follows his abandoned plan to sell stakes in competitions to private investors. France says dropping that proposal does not resolve the governance problem.
